Eiosis Sidechain : up to 3 stereo inputs for the ELS Vocoder

The SideChain feature allows any external input to be used as the carrier signal (in addition to the internal oscillator). This feature means that the ELS Vocoder is the most advanced, powerful and easy to use vocoder plugin on the market.

Multiple inputs
With up to 3 available stereo inputs (the Speech input plus the 2 Sidechain inputs), there is no need for complex routing manipulations or multichannel busses to get up and running. Logic Express users can use all the features of the ELS Vocoder without any MIDI or audio input limitations.

Simple use
The Eiosis SideChain plugin must be inserted into the track sent to the ELS Vocoder. This plugin provides an internal buffer that stores audio while tracks are processed by the host. Depending on the processing order of the SideChain and ELS Vocoder, the transmission delay can be null or specified by the internal Sidechain buffer size in samples.

Internal routing
In the ELS Vocoder, the Sidechain routing options are accessed by clicking on the VCO options. The Sidechain signal may either be routed directly to the filter bank, or activated only by Voiced/Unvoiced parts of the vocoded signal. Alternatively, it may be routed to the Speech input. This flexibility allows the ELS Vocoder to be used in numerous situations where external inputs are required, such as using your own audio material as a carrier.

The ELS Vocoder can handle 2 stereo Sidechain inputs, which can be routed independently, so you can use one external input for Voiced and another for Unvoiced parts. The internal oscillators and the external Sidechain output can be used simultaneously, so you can mix the internal and external synthesisers together to create unique and exciting sounds.

Two interfaces sizes for laptop screen resolutions

The ELS Vocoder features two interfaces sizes : the normal one, and another one with a reduced height, to fit into laptop screen resolutions.

Switch between GUI sizes
You can switch between both sizes with a simple option, and you need to reload the ELS Vocoder to apply the GUI settings.

With the small interface size, you can access the same modules than with the normal size interface, by clicking on the corresponding tab.
